 - Microsoft Liquid Motion for Windows 1.0

SYMPTOMS
========

When you preview a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) page containing multiple
Liquid Motion animations, you may receive the following error:

   Internet Explorer Script Error.
   An error has occurred in the script on this page.
   Line: 13
   Char: 7
   Error: 'DAControlMyAnimation.MeterLibrary.VersionString' isn't an object.
   Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

CAUSE
=====

This error appears if you have multiple copies of the same animation on your
page.

The script referred to in the error message is stored in js/IE4MyAnimation.js, an
external script file. After reading the script, DirectAnimation plays the first
animation. The script in the HTML file calls the external script again. But,
because the animation is already playing, the
DAControlMyAnimation.MeterLibrary.VersionString object is no longer there.

NOTE: This behavior only occurs in Internet Explorer 4.0. Other browsers, such as
Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape Navigator do not use DirectAnimation.

RESOLUTION
==========

Republish the animation to the FrontPage web using a different name. To do this,
follow these steps:

1. Open your original animation in Liquid Motion.

2. On the File menu, click Save As.

3. Give the file a new name and click Save. For example, if your animation is
   named MyAnimation.jck, rename the animation as MyAnimation1.jck.

4. On the File menu, click Publish As.

5. Click FrontPage Web and then click Finish.

6. Start or switch to FrontPage Explorer and follow these steps:

   a. On the View menu, click Folders.

   b. Move the HTML file you created in step 5 (for example, MyAnimation1.html)
      into the same folder as the HTML file that contains multiple animations
      (the file that generates the error described in the "Symptoms" section of
      this article).

   c. Open the new HTML file (MyAnimation1.html) in FrontPage Editor.

   d. Right-click the animation and click Copy.

   e. Open the HTML file that contains multiple animations in FrontPage Editor.

   f. Select the animation and press DELETE.

   g. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
