If you are using any of the video adapters listed below, you may
experience problems playing Monster Truck Madness 2. Known workarounds,
when available, are included below. If you experience problems when
playing Monster Truck Madness 2, contact your video adapter's hardware
manufacturer for the latest drivers for your video adapter. Many
manufacturers maintain World Wide Web sites that offer updated drivers
and troubleshooting advice for their products.

Video adapters with known issues when running Monster Truck Madness 2:

3D Labs Permedia 2 Chipsets (includes Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro,
AccellGraphics AccelSTAR II, ABIT V3D, Creative Labs Graphics

#9 Revolution 3D (ticket 2 ride, AGP) video adapter. Workaround:
do not install the Diamond Multimedia Monster 3D accelerator after
installing this video adapter. If you do, Monster Truck Madness 2
may stop responding when you display the Races screen.

ATI Rage One video adapter with 2 MBs of VRAM. Workaround: do not
select Direct3D in the Graphics Renderer list (Graphics command on
the Options menu), or upgrade the amount of VRAM to 4 MB or more.

ATI 3D Rage video adapter.

Pavilion Pentium II-300 computer. Workaround: do not select Direct3D
in the Graphics Renderer list (Graphics command, Options menu).

3.2. Problems with built-in ATI Rage Pro Turbo 1X (AGP-compatible) video
     adapters in Dell OptiPlex computers.

If you have a Dell OptiPlex computer with an ATI Rage Pro Turbo 1X video
adapter that is built-into your coomputer's motherboard, you may encounter
problems if you select the Triple Buffering AGP option in the 3D Hardware
Options dialog box. To avoid the problem, do not select Triple Buffering in
the Accelerated Graphics Port list in the 3D Hardware Options dialog box.

If you are unable to start Monster Truck Madness 2 after selecting Triple
Buffering, follow the steps below to fix the problem:

Open Monster.ini (file located in the System folder where you installed
   Monster Truck Madness 2).

Search for useAGPFlag (listed under Graphics).

Set the flag to 0.

Save and close Monster.ini

Start Monster Truck Madness 2.

3.3. Switching between display adapters when you have more than one
     installed on your computer.

If you have more than one display adapter or 3D accelerator card
installed on your computer, you may encounter problems when switching
between adapters while playing Monster Truck Madness 2.

You can download a small program from the World Wide Web, 3D Control
Center, that enables you to run more than one display adapter or 3D
accelerator card in your machine. On the World Wide Web, navigate to:

http://www.videologic.com

select Software, then Apocalypse 3Dx, and then find and unzip 3dcc.zip.

3.4. Problems entering full-screen mode with ATI Rage and other display
     adapters.

If you are using an ATI Rage or other video adapter, and you are unable
to switch to full screen with your hardware option selected in the Graphics
Renderer list (Graphics command on Options menu), you must quit and restart
Monster Truck Madness 2 to switch to full screen mode with Software Only
selected in the Graphics Renderer list.

3.5. White textures flickering on-screen when Rain or Snow weather options
     selected.

If you select either the Rain or Snow weather option for a race, and
you are running Monster Truck Madness 2 in Software Only mode (Graphics
Renderer list, Graphics command, Options menu), you may notice white
textures flickering on-screen while you're racing. There is no known
workaround for this at this time.

3.6. AGP Buffering options still available when using non-AGP display
     adapter.

Even if you do not have an AGP video adapter installed on your computer,
you can still select buffering options in the Accelerated Graphics Port
list (3D Hardware dialog box), although an error message is displayed the
first time you select one. If you select a buffering option without an AGP
display adapter installed on your computer, you may experience degraded
performance. In some cases, Monster Truck Madness 2 may not run.

3.7. No underwater or fogging effects with V2X00 display adapters.

If you are using a Rendition Rredline V2X00 display adapter, including
the Diamond Stealth II s220, Hercules Thriller 3D, Jazz Outlaw 3D, and
The Outlaw 3D-Bonnie & Clyde display adapters, and you select the
Rendition Rredline option in the Graphics Renderer list (Graphics command,
Options menu), you may not see underwater or fog visual effects while you
are racing.
