After changing the column widths of one of the Investor pre-defined Column
Sets, this change is not retained when returning to Portfolio Manager.

The only custom column information saved by Investor is for "Your
Customized Column Set"
 
If you want one of the pre-defined Column Sets to be included in Your
Customized Column Set you can do so by following the steps below:
 
1. Click Portfolio Manager View menu.
 
2. Point to Column Set Displayed.
 
3. Click the desired pre-defined Column Set.
 
4. Repeat steps 1-2 and then click Customize Column Set.
 
5. Make any desired changes to the columns displayed.
 
6. Be sure to select the option to "Save to your customized column set?"
   and then click OK.
 
7. Now you can modify the column widths and Investor will remember the
   settings.
 
If you would like the ability to customize the column widths of the
Portfolio Manager pre-defined Column Sets, be sure to submit that feature
request to Investor's Feedback, which you can access by going to the Help
menu and clicking Product Support.
