SUMMARY
=======

When you check quote details in MSN Investor, you notice some prices are
displayed using fractions and some are displayed using decimals.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Investor stock quotes are supplied by Standard & Poor's ComStock, Inc.
The quotes displayed on the Investor Web site appear exactly as they are
received. Further, many decimal quotes are not easily converted to
fractions; for instance, a 52-week low of $42.81 would not have a
reasonable fractional equivalent, and therefore is maintained as a
decimal.

There has been a recent movement on the stock exchanges to giving more
precise price quotes. Hence, stock quotes were formerly given in eighths
(1/8) as their smallest increments, today it is not uncommon to observe
quotes in thirty-seconds (1/32) as their smallest increments. As consumers
have demanded even more accuracy in their pricing, stock exchanges are
changing from fractional to decimal quotes.
