SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to join a Cribbage game on the MSN Gaming Zone, you may receive
the following error message:

   Fail to initialize game object.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, quit all programs that are running in the background and
then reinstall the Lobby.exe file. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect from MSN Gaming Zone and quit Zone Friends. To quit Zone Friends,
right-click the Zone Friends icon on the taskbar, and then click Close.

2. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.

3. In the Named box, type "lobby.exe" (without the quotation marks), and then
   click Find Now.

4. In the list of found files, right-click the Lobby.exe file, and then click
   Delete.

5. Close the Find: Files Named Lobby.exe window.

6. Restart the computer to a command prompt. To do this, use the appropriate
method for your version of Microsoft Windows.

   Microsoft Windows 95
   --------------------

Restart your computer. When you see the "Starting Windows 95" message, press
the F8 key, and then choose Command Prompt Only from the Startup menu.

   Microsoft Windows 98
   --------------------

Restart your computer, press and hold down the CTRL key after your computer
completes the Power On Self Test (POST), and then choose Command Prompt Only
   from the Startup menu.

7. At the command prompt, type "win" (without the quotation marks), and then
press ENTER. Press and hold down the SHIFT key until the Windows startup
process is complete. This prevents any programs from starting automatically.

8. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Close Program dialog box.

9. Quit all programs except Explorer and Systray (which are parts of Windows
95). To quit a program, click the program, and then click End Task.

10. Repeat steps 8-9 until you have quit all programs except Explorer and
   Systray.

11. Disable any anti-virus or disk tool programs installed on the computer. For
information about how to disable these programs, see the printed or online
   documentation for the program.

12. Connect to MSN Gaming Zone, enter the Cribbage game lobby, and then click a
game room link. The Zone installs a new copy of the Lobby.exe file
   automatically.
