SUMMARY
=======

This article offers tips for preventing lens flare from affecting scene
models.

MORE INFORMATION
================

When you set a lens flare with a Selective light (Include) while using FX
Director, or with the Camera Settings, the lens flare's light does not
affect the scene as expected. To obtain the desired effects, consider these
tips:

 - If you want the model to block the lens flare, associate the object to
   the light (click Light, then Associate).

 - To prevent the light from affecting the associated model, create an
   object between the light and the model. For the object's properties,
   deactivate Shadow (on Info Selection, click Render Setup) and assign
   Ghost as the Material Shader.
