SYMPTOMS
========
 
MentalHosts+ custom effect, which is found on the Info menu, does not work.
In the shell where SOFTIMAGE 3D starts, the following error message
appears:
 
   Cannot write custom data file
 
CAUSE
=====
 
Paths in the MentalHosts.cus file are in UNIX format.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
Using rsrcedit, edit the file MentalHosts.cus (located in the
3D/Custom/Matter directory of your SOFTIMAGE 3D installation). Near the end
of the MentalHosts.cus file, there is a reference to the path, /usr/tmp.
Change the /usr/tmp reference to a path that exists (for example, c:\temp).
