SYMPTOMS
========

While running Setup for Microsoft Money 98 or Microsoft Internet Explorer
(IE) 3.02 (Msie302.exe), you may receive the following error message:

   Inf Install Failure: Reason File Copy Session Already Open.

RESOLUTION
==========

NOTE: Because there are several versions of Windows, the following steps
may be different on your computer. If they are, please consult your product
documentation to complete these steps.

To resolve this problem, create a shortcut to extract all of the Internet
Explorer Setup components into the Windows Temp folder, and then run each
component individually. This allows each component to complete Setup
successfully and avoid any errors. The following procedure walks you
through this.

NOTE: You must delete all temporary files (.tmp) in the Windows Temp folder
before attempting this procedure.

For information on how to delete temp files, please see the following
article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

             unoccupied area of the desktop.

          C:\Windows\Desktop\msie302.exe /T:c:\windows\temp /C

    6. Click OK, and then double-click the shortcut.
       This runs an abbreviated version of Setup, which will unpack all
       of the Setup files into the Windows Temp directory.

    7. In the My Computer window, navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder

       This will automatically restart your computer.

message, when restarting, repeat step 9 above to rerun Ieakjava.exe.
Restart one last time and Money and Internet Explorer should both start
without problems.
