SYMPTOMS
========
 
If you use the Volume Control icon on the taskbar to adjust the sound volume
when you play Microsoft Fighter Ace on a Toshiba Infinia computer or a Compaq
Presario 871 computer, the Volume slider may remain on the screen when you
return to the game.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To resolve this behavior, use the appropriate method for your computer.
 
Toshiba Infinia
---------------
 
To resolve this behavior on a Toshiba Infinia computer, follow these steps:
 
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
 
2. Double-click In Touch.
 
3. On the Options tab, click the Enable Onscreen Display check box to clear it,
   and then click OK.
 
4. Close Control Panel.
 
Compaq Presario 871
-------------------
 
To resolve this behavior on a Compaq Presario 871 computer, follow these steps:
 
1. Click the Easy Access Buttons icon on the taskbar, and then click Configure
   Easy Access Buttons.
 
2. On the On-Screen Display tab, click the Enable Onscreen Display check box to
   clear it.
 
3. Click OK.
