SYMPTOMS
========

The Monthly Report displays percentages in the following sentences that do
not correspond to the actual performance of your holdings in the
investment:

   For the year, <Name of Investment> is the big winner. It has gained <n>%
   since January.

   For the year, <Name of Investment> is the poorest performer. It has lost
   <n>% since January.

CAUSE
=====

The Monthly Report is showing the percent increase or decrease in the
price of the stock since the start of the year and that is not necessarily
the same as the percent you personally gained or lost on the stock.

WORKAROUND
==========

To see your actual percent gain or loss on an investment, follow these
steps:

1. Click Investments on the navigation bar.

2. In the left pane, click Performance View.

Here you will see a "% Gain" column. This is where you can see your
actual percent gain or loss on an investment.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
