SYMPTOMS
========
 
When you play Microsoft Fighter Ace, the sound volume may vary widely during
game play regardless of the Master Volume and Game Volume sound settings.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This behavior can occur if the Master Volume and Game Volume settings are set to
different levels.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To resolve this issue, set the Master Volume and the Game Volume settings to the
same level and adjust the volume of your speakers to a comfortable level. To do
so, use the following steps:
 
1. Start Fighter Ace.
 
2. On the Startup menu, click Options.
 
3. On the Options menu, click Sound.
 
4. In the Sound dialog box, set the Master Volume and the Game Volume settings
   to the same level, and then click OK.
 
5. Adjust the volume of your speakers to a comfortable setting.
