SYMPTOMS
========
 
In Microsoft Money 98, the Bill Reminder icon does not appear in the
Windows taskbar even if you have transactions due. The Bill Reminder only
appears if you have a transaction due today, or you have a transaction that
is past due.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This happens when "Count Only Business Days" is selected in the Options
area of Money.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To not use the "Count Only Business Days" option, follow these steps:
 
1. On the the Tools menu, click Options.
 
2. Click the Bills tab.
 
3. Click to clear "Count Only Business Days."
 
4. Click OK.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
