SUMMARY
=======

This article shows you how to apply a Local lattice to an animated 2D
texture.

MORE INFORMATION
================

To do this:

1. Select the model that includes the animated 2D texture.

2. From the Model module, choose Lattice -> MakeLattice + (edit the
   Resolution values).

3. Pick the model with the animated 2D texture. A local lattice is
   generated for the model.

4. From the Motion module, choose Effects -> LocalLattice and - a) pick the
   LocalLattice - b) pick the model with the animated 2D texture. A lattice
   icon is generated.

5. Select the LocalLattice, tag some of its points and then transform the
   points. Press the "r" key to refresh the scene.

6. To key the LocalLattice, choose SaveKey -> Object -> Shape.

7. Go to a different frame number, and transform the LocalLattice's points
   to different positions.

8. Repeat step #6.

9. Select the model with the animated 2D texture. In the Perspective view,
   switch from Wireframe mode to Shade mode. Click the Perspective view's
   Setup option. From the Shade View Setup dialog box, enable the Hardware
   Texture and click OK.

10. Play back the animation. You will see both the 2D texture transform on
   the model's surface and the model as it changes shape.
