SYMPTOMS
========

In the Financial Suite of Money 98 you can create a Debt Reduction Plan for
debt accounts such as a credit card, line of credit account, or loans. The
Debt Reduction Planner prompts you to create a new transaction in Bills to
handle this debt. Money creates a second transaction in Bills for this
account, even if you have an existing Automatic Payment (Apay) transaction
in Bills to pay a debt account. Money does not automatically cancel the
existing Apay.

CAUSE
=====

The Debt Reduction Planner does not edit an existing Apay transaction. This
is by design because an Apay amount cannot be edited. Payments to debts
handled by the Debt Reduction Planner fluctuate in value.

RESOLUTION
==========

If you want the Debt Reduction Planner to manage payments to this debt
account, cancel the existing Apay. If you want to continue to pay a fixed
amount on this debt, remove the account from the Debt Reduction Planner.

   bar, and then click Include Accounts.

3. Right-click the account in the Accounts in Debt Plan area.

    Money is currently managing this debt for you. In removing
