Money 98: How to Correct Online Services Setup for Wrong Bank

SYMPTOMS
========
 
In the Online Banking area of Money you may have two sets of setup instructions
under Getting Started, when you should only have one, or you may have only one
set of instructions when you should have two. Under Connect you may have two
buttons, one for Send Payments and one for Get Statements, instead of just one
Connect button.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This issue can occur if any of the following conditions are true:
 
 - You set up Online Services for the wrong financial institution.
 
 - The financial institution you use offers the Online Bill Payment service, but
   did not offer the service when you set up Online Services in Money.
 
 - You changed the financial institution you use, but did not change change the
   Bank Place.
 
NOTE: In Online Setup, if you click Investigate Offerings, and then change the
name of the financial institution, you receive the following warning:
 
   Money may not be able to update service information... Are you
   sure you want to investigate service offerings for <New Financial
   Institution>.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To resolve this issue, disable Online Services for the affected accounts, change
the name of the bank, and then run the Online Services Setup wizard. To do this
follow these steps:
 
1. Disable all online services for the account. For information about how to
   disable online accounts in Money 98, please see the following article in the
   Microsoft Knowledge Base:
 
   Q175728 Money: How to Disable and Enable Your Online Accounts
 
2. In Account Manager, click New Account, type "My Bank" (without quotation
   marks) in the Held At box, and then click Next.
 
3. Click Next until you see the last screen of the New Account wizard, and then
   click Finish.
 
4. In Account Manager, right-click the account you want to change, click Go To
   Details, and then click My Bank in the Financial Institution box.
 
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each account that is assigned to the affected financial
   institution.
 
6. In the Financial Institution box, type the name of the financial institution
   to replace My Bank.
 
7. Click Online, and then click Yes when you are prompted with the following
   message:
 
   Do you want to change the bank name for all accounts at this bank?
 
   Click Yes to change My Bank to <Bank Name> at all accounts at My
   Bank. Click No if you only want to change the bank name for this
   account.
 
8. Click Online Financial Services, and then click the name of the financial
   institution that you just created.
 
9. Click Investigate Offerings, follow the instructions on the screen to set up
   the financial institution with the correct information.
 
   NOTE: Depending on your Service Provider, the first bank statement that is
   downloaded will include transactions for the past 30 to 60 days. This is by
   design and will not cause duplicate transaction in your Account Register.
 
10. Click Accounts, and then click Account Manager in the Accounts menu.
 
11. Right-click My Bank, and then click Delete.
