SYMPTOMS
========

After you import an account from your broker into MSN Investor, the cash
balance or Money Market account calculations may be incorrect.

CAUSE
=====

This issue can occur if the broker exports a Money Market account
to a Sweep Account and sends the transaction details.

A Sweep Account balance is converted into the cash balance in Investor.
Investor does not receive complete historical data, so it creates a
transaction to adjust the balance.

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, change the downloaded transaction in Investor
to a Buy or Sell transaction and then import the data from your broker
again. To do this, follow these steps:

1. In Portfolio Manager, double-click the investment that you want to
   change.

2. On the Transactions tab, click the transaction you want, and then click
   Edit.

3. In the Activity box, click Buy or Sell, click OK, and then click OK.
   Repeat steps 2-3 for each transaction you want to change.

4. In Portfolio Manager, click Update Imported Brokerage Data on the File
   menu.
