SUMMARY
=======

To scale a particle system so that it is proportionate to a SOFTIMAGE 3D
(SI3D) scene, complete the following steps:

1. Load the original scene in SI3D.

2. Replace the scene elements with Cubes.

3. Position constrain the cubes to the various elements, then relax the
   constraints and delete the original elements.

4. Load three Primitive Nulls (Null1, Null2, and Null3).

5. Position Constrain Null1 to the camera and Position Constrain Null2 to
   the camera interest.

6. Relax both Nulls' constraints.

7. Create a hierarchy by making the Cubes and the Nulls children of Null3.

8. Right-click the entire hierarchy and Scale the selected elements in
   UNI mode to the desired scaling values (scale 50% use 0.5 in all three
   axes).

9. Save the new scene, then load the scene into Particle.

10. Create your Particles system.

When in Particle, it is important to switch to CAM view in order to view
the scene in the SI3D camera perspective.
