Either change the UNC name to the actual drive letter being mapped, or
rename the share on the server so it does not have spaces.

For example:

  \\SERVER\D Drive is mapped to drive G:

  the DatabaseDir.rsrc has the following entry:

  DATABASE Database
  PATH //server/D Drive/Database

  change the path to:
  PATH G:/Database

  -OR-

  Rename the D Drive share and remove the space.

STATUS
======

This behavior is by design.
