SUMMARY
=======

This article provides a method for copying material and 2D local textures
from the polygons on one model to the polygons of a second model that has
an identical number of polygons.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The following procedure assumes that you have already created a model and
applied material and 2D textures.

Step-by-Step Example
--------------------

1. Set up a second model (the target model) with the identical number of
   polygons that are assigned to your original model.

2. Consecutively activate the first polygon of the original model, then the
   compatible polygon of the second model (target model).

3. Select the second model. From the Matter module, choose
   Mat_Oper>Associate, and then pick the local material of the original
   model's compatible polygon.

4. Repeat the operation for the other polygons' 2D local textures.

5. When the association operation is finished, select the original model
   and delete it. Note that the second model has now inherited the original
   model's material and 2D local textures.
