SUMMARY
=======

This article provides a method for controlling a model's ambient color
locally, without the influence of the Atmosphere>Ambience RGB settings.
Presently, there are no features available to create this type of effect.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The following procedure offers an effective workaround:

1. Set the Atmosphere>Depth Fading RGB values to 0.0.

2. Set the model's Material parameters to the desired settings.

3. Define a Light source.

4. Edit the Light source: activate the Selective Light->Include option,
   edit the Light's RGB values to the color you want to set for the
   model's Ambience.

5. Select the model and associate the model to the Light by choosing
   Light->Associate, then pick the Light icon, or the Light's Schematic
   view representation.

6. Repeat steps 1 through 5, to control other scene models' local ambient
   color(s).

7. Preview or render the scene.

Now the model's ambient color is affected by the light source that the
model is associated to, without the influence of the global ambient color.
