SUMMARY
=======

This article provides two methods for moving points on a NURBS surface. If
your model does not require fine detail, the Edit>Nurbs Weight command is
useful. If you do wish to achieve a fine degree of detail the following two
methods are recommended:

Lockdown command
----------------

You can use the Lockdown custom effect to lock the Nurbs surface points
that you do not want manipulated. Then, transform the unlocked points
(remember to use the 'r' key to refresh the scene).

Create Cluster groups
---------------------

You can also create Cluster groups on different parts of the Nurbs surface.
Check the "Create Cluster Center" option in the Set Cluster dialog box.
Then position Constrain the Cluster center to a Primitive Null located in
the same area as the Cluster Center. Apply Position (and Rotation) Limits
constraints to the Primitive Null. Now you can transform other Cluster
groups or surface points without affecting the area that contains the
Position (and Rotation) Limits constraints.
