SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
 
This is a list of system requirements:
 
1. Multimedia PC with a 486SX/33 MHz or higher processor
2. Microsoft Windows 95 operating system or Windows NT Workstation
   version 3.51 or later
3. 8 MB of memory (RAM) for Windows 95; 12 MB of memory for Windows NT
4. 6 MB of available hard-disk space
5. Double-speed CD-ROM drive or faster
6. Super VGA, 256-color monitor
7. Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
8. 16-bit sound card
9. Headphones or speakers
 
CLOSED CAPTIONS
 
MSB Rainforest includes closed captions. There are 3 ways to turn closed
captions on.
 
1. Before running the product:
   1.1. Click Start
   1.2. Click Settings
   1.3. Click Control Panels
   1.4. Double-click on Accessibility Options
   1.5. Click on the Sound panel
   1.6. Click on Use ShowSounds to get a checkmark.
   1.7. Click OK
   1.8. Run MSB Rainforest
 
While running the product and if closed captions are not on, you can:
2. Click on the CC button in the classroom. You can find this button on
   the right side of the classroom near the upper right.
3. Click on the CC button in the bus. You can find this button on the
   right side of the bus.
 
The closed captions can be paused to allow kids to take more time to
read the captions.
 
You can only pause while the closed captions are visible.
 
To pause the closed captions, press the Pause/Break key on the
keyboard. This will bring up a dialog prompt asking you to continue
the game.
 
EXPLANATION OF CAPTIONS.TXT
 
We also provided all the closed captions in a text file. We encourage
you to print out the text file so that kids can read along if necessary.
 
1. Double-click on the My Computer icon
2. Right click on the CD-ROM icon.
3. Click on open.
4. Double-click on Captions.txt. The will open the text file.
5. Click on File, then Print.
