SUMMARY
=======

In the versions of Microsoft Money listed at the beginning of this article,
there is a new Find command on the Tools menu. This command allows you to
create a customized view in the Account Register when you want to see a
particular type of transaction such as a specific category or a single
payee.

MORE INFORMATION
================

In earlier versions of Money, the View command allowed you to filter for
such things as unprinted checks, transactions to a specific payee, or
transactions with a specific category.

In Money 98, 4.0, and 5.0, the Find command replaces the View command. For
information about how to use the Find command, see the following steps.

Create Customized Transaction View
----------------------------------

1. Go to the Account Register area and display the account you want.

2. On the Tools menu, point to Find and click the appropriate submenu
   choice from Transactions, Investment Transactions, or Loan Transactions.

3. Click each appropriate tab and specify the criteria you want.

4. Click Find to see the results. You can sort the list by clicking on the
   column label.
