This article explains how to setup and use MCI Internet for Windows 95 as
your Internet Service Provider (ISP) with Money. Money 5.0 allows you to
download Internet Quotes and statement information from financial
institutions through the Internet. Money also allows you to access the
MoneyZone and other Internet Web sites from Money.
 
NOTE: This article presumes that you have an account with MCI and
no other ISP installed on your computer that might interfere with the
installation of MCI. If you have difficulty with any of the steps
outlined in this article, contact MCI for assistance.

MCI Internet installs Internet Explorer (IE) version 3.0 and supports
Schannel.dll and Wsock32.dll, two files needed for Money 5.0.
 
Setting Up MCI as Your ISP
--------------------------
 
To use MCI as your ISP, follow these steps to set up Internet
Explorer correctly:
 
1. Install the latest version of MCI Internet from either software disks,
   or from the Internet. Make sure that you install the version for
   Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 3.0.
 
   NOTE: If you have downloaded a newer version of IE 3.0 from the
   Microsoft Web Site you will be asked if you want to keep the
   current .dll files.  Select the default to keep all current .dll's or
   other files during the Setup process.
 
2. Right-click The Internet on your desktop and then click Properties
   on the shortcut menu.
 
3. On the Connection tab, make sure that the "Connect To The Internet As
   Needed" is selected.
 
4. In the "Use The Following Dial-Up Networking Connection" list, select
   the MCI connection.
 
5. Make sure that the "Connect Through A Proxy Server" is clear.
 
6. Click OK.
 
Using MCI as Your ISP in Money
------------------------------
 
1. Start Money and click Account Manager.
 
2. In Account Manager, select the account that you want to setup for
   Online Services and click Account Details.
 
3. Click "Select Online Services". This launches the Online Services Setup
   Wizard.
 
4. When prompted to choose an Internet connection method, select the
   MCI connection in the "Use My Internet Service Provider From
   The List Below" list.
 
5. Complete the Online Services Setup Wizard, enabling all appropriate
   accounts for Online Services.
