SUMMARY

The following article discusses how to successfully play Duke Nukem 3D
on the Internet Gaming Zone's ZoneLAN.
 
NOTE: All players must use the same game and patch versions to
successfully play each other on the Zone using Duke Nukem 3D.
 
To play Duke Nukem 3D, by 3D Realms, on the Zone, do the following:
 
1. Select a room name.
 
2. Host a table or join someone else.
 
3. Name your table.
 
4. Click Play. ZoneLAN will open an MS-DOS window and load the
   ZoneLAN software. (This may take a minute or two.)
 
6. In the MS-DOS window, change to the folder where Duke Nukem 3D is
   installed.
 
5. Type the following at the command prompt:
 
      setup/f4
 
6. Press ENTER to start the game.
 
7. Choose a host and launch the multiplayer game in the usual way.
 
8. When the game is finished, players must close their MS-DOS window to
   return to the Zone.
