SUMMARY
=======

ZoneLAN is a place where players can compete in MS-DOS multiplayer games that
are intended for play over a local area network (LAN). ZoneLAN only works with
MS-DOS based IPX multiplayer games. ZoneLAN does NOT work for games designed to
run exclusively on Windows 95.

NOTE: Make sure you and your opponent are using the same version of the MSN
Gaming Zone software before you attempt to matchmake.

To matchmake an MS-DOS Multiplayer game, do the following:

1. Select a room name.

2. Host a table or join someone else.

3. Name your table.

4. Send Chat messages describing the game to solicit other players. All players
must have a copy of the game installed on their hard disks before attempting
   to matchmake.

5. Click the Play button. ZoneLAN will open an MS-DOS window and load the
ZoneLAN software. Please be patient, loading the software may take a minute
   or two.

6. Start the game in the MS-DOS window.

7. Select a host and launch the multiplayer game.

8. When the game is finished, players must close their MS-DOS windows to return
   to the Zone.
