SUMMARY
=======

When you save a Works 4.0 Word Processing document as a Works
2.0 document, you cannot insert the document into Aldus PageMaker
versions 4.2 and 5.0. Instead, PageMaker will insert an empty frame.

MORE INFORMATION
================

To transfer the information from a Works 4.0 Word Processing document to
PageMaker do the following:

1. Open the Word Processing document in Works.

2. On the File menu Click Save As.

3. Type a new name for the document in the Save Document As box.

4. In the File Format list box, click RTF.

5. Click Save.

You can now insert the document into PageMaker.

NOTE: This behavior is different than Works 3.0. When a Works 3.0 document
is saved as a Works 2.0 document, PageMaker will place and insert the file
correctly.

PageMaker is manufactured by Aldus, a vendor independent of Microsoft; we
make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's
performance or reliability.
