SUMMARY
=======

Because of physical read limitations, some CD-ROM drives cannot access some
files and folders on the Wine Guide compact disc. This article lists those
files and folders and discusses a method for testing your CD-ROM drive.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The following is the final folder on the Wine Guide 2.0 compact disc. This
folder is at the outermost track on the CD.

   d:\mswdata                            302-558 MB

To test for specific drive capacity limitations, try to access the
file listed below located in the outermost megabytes of the Wine
Guide disc:

   d:\mswdata\pages.1                    489-558 MB

The file pages.1 is about 70 MB and should only be tested by copying to
the nul port. Use the following command at the MS-DOS prompt:

     copy d:\mswdata\pages.1 nul (where x is the CD-ROM drive)

The Wine Guide compact disc contains 558 MB of data. The final file on
the disc is d:\mswdata\pages.1.
