SUMMARY
=======

This article describes the information you need to set up accounts for
Online Services.

MORE INFORMATION
================

There are three possible methods for setting up accounts for Online
Services. These are CheckFree Service (formerly ISC) as the service
provider, VISA InterActive (VISA) as the service provider, or through
another bank or service provider which uses the Open Financial
Connectivity (OFC) standards. The method you use will depend upon the
financial institution's preferences.

Intuit Service Center (ISC)
---------------------------

CheckFree or a CheckFree partner-bank provides a Start-up kit to each
customer. This Start-up kit includes a Reference Guide that contains
information regarding which services are enabled for which accounts. This
kit also contains a Service Agreement outlining CheckFree's policies.

To set up accounts with CheckFree, the following information is required:

 - Social Security Number (SSN): The SSN is your account number with
CheckFree. Businesses can use their Tax ID Number (TIN).

 - Name: The first name on the Reference Guide is the name used by
   CheckFree for your account.

 - Account Numbers: The Reference Guide contains this information.

 - Services Enabled: The Reference Guide contains this information.

 - Account Type: It is essential that you choose the correct account type.

 - Routing Transit Number (RTN): Each account needs the correct RTN.
   These can differ by account.

 - Personal Identification Number (PIN): CheckFree or your bank assigns
the PIN. This is temporary, it can be changed the first time you
   connect.

VISA InterActive
----------------

VISA accounts can be set up through your bank, by mail, or over the
phone. You will receive the following information:

 - Access ID: This is usually your Social Security Number.

 - Password: VISA or your bank assigns the password. Often, you can
   choose your own password.

 - Bank ID: This is usually filled in by the branding server.

Open Financial Connectivity (OFC)
---------------------------------

Each OFC bank sends its customers a Start-Up kit; these kits include
your personal set-up information. Additionally, banks include
information about how their services function; each bank defines
items such as services offered, and days required to make an
electronic payment or funds transfer.

You need the following information from your bank to complete the
Online Services Wizard:

 - Connection Method: Dial-Up Networking or Internet. This information
is usually supplied by the branding server.

 - Access phone number or URL: This is usually supplied by the
   branding server.

 - Identification Code (ID): This may be your bank account number or
some other ID number supplied by your bank.

 - Account Numbers: You need to supply the account number(s).

 - Account Type: During the setup process for Online Banking, the
wizard asks you to specify the account type. It is essential that
you select the correct account type.

 - Routing Transit Number (RTN): Each account needs the correct RTN.
   These can differ by account.

NOTE: Although Money provides the software, banks are solely responsible
for Online Bill Payment and Online Banking content.
