In a Works Database document, fields placed on a form can be moved to the
desired location by using the mouse. The arrow keys on the keyboard can
also be used to move fields to fine-tune field placement

In Design View, click on the field you want to move or adjust. Using the
arrow keys on the keyboard, move the field to the desired location. As you
press the arrows on the  keyboard, the field will move in small increments.
 
NOTE: If the snap-to-grid setting is on, the fields will move to the
nearest grid setting.
