SYMPTOMS
========
 
Filters in Works databases are not case sensitive. Filters do not
distinguish between uppercase and lowercase characters.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior
---------------------------
 
1. Create a new database.
 
2. Click Done (this creates a database with a single field named Field 1).
 
3. In Works 4.0, click No. In Works 3.0, click List View on the Form menu.
 
4. Type an uppercase "X" (without quotation marks) and then press RETURN.
 
5. Type a lowercase "x" (without quotation marks) and then press RETURN.
 
6. In Works 4.0, click Create New Filter on the Tools menu. In Works 3.0,
   click New Filter on the Data menu.
 
7. Click Field 1 on the pop-up Field menu.
 
8. Type an uppercase "X" (without quotation marks) in the Compare To
   field.
 
9. Click OK.
 
Note that both records are visible, even though the filter contained only
an uppercase "X."
