SYMPTOMS
========

When you create and edit a formula with Equation Editor in a spreadsheet,
the mouse pointer may remain a clock. Although the mouse pointer remains
a clock, you should be able to edit text and formulas.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can be caused by an incorrect or damaged printer driver.

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct this behavior, try either of the following methods:

 - Choose a different printer driver. To do so, follow these steps:

    1. Close the spreadsheet.

    2. On the Apple menu, click Chooser.

    3. Click a different printer driver.

    4. Open the spreadsheet again.

   If the previous printer driver was incorrect or damaged, this method
   should resolve the problem. It may be necessary to reinstall the
   previous printer driver. For information about updating and
   reinstalling the printer driver, check with the printer's manufacturer.

 - Go to the Finder and then back to the document. To do so, follow these
   steps:

    1. On the Application menu (the icon in the upper right corner of the
       screen), click Finder.

    2. On the Application menu, click Microsoft Works 4.0.
