 - Microsoft Automap Streets for Windows, version 4.0
 - Microsoft Windows 95

SYMPTOMS
========

When you install Microsoft Automap Road Atlas or Microsoft Automap
Streets, if you run the Setup Help program, the temporary directory
created by the Setup program is not removed after installation is
completed.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Automap
Road Atlas, version 4.0 and Microsoft Automap Streets, version 4.0.
We are researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The Setup temporary directory is not removed because Windows 95 Help
creates hidden .GID files when Setup Help is started. Setup is unable
to delete the temporary directory upon completion because it contains
these hidden files.

This problem does not occur on systems running Microsoft Windows 3.1x.
