Introduction
------------
This patch contains an updated version of the timezone package for
Solaris 11. The timezone package may be released prior to the SRU
that updates the package due to the nature of the changes in the
timezone data. However, in general, the SRU delivered post the
last updated timezone package will contain the updated timezone
package.

How to use the package
----------------------
There are two steps to using the package. The first is populating
your local package repository with it and the second is installing
it on your system.

1. Populating local package repository

   Run the install-repo.ksh script that is included in the IPS
   Repository Installation Guide patch to update your existing
   repository.

   $ install-repo.ksh [-c] [-v] -d full_path_to_existing_s11_repo

   For example:

   $ install-repo.ksh -c -v -d /export/support-repo

2. Install the package on the local machine:

   Unlock the timezone package from the constraints on the system:

   # pkg change-facet version-lock.system/data/timezone=false
   # pkg update timezone

   Note: When a package is unlocked, the package may no longer
   be updated when the system is updated depending upon how the
   update is performed.

   If the update is performed as 'pkg update entire@<sru number>',
   the timezone package will not be updated. If the update is
   performed as 'pkg update' then it will be updated.

   Once the SRU that contains the package is released, you can
   optionally relock the package:

   # pkg change-facet version-lock.system/data/timezone=none
