Viewing and Managing Resources

How to View Resource Configuration

1. Double-click the Sun Cluster item in the tree view.
   The tree is expanded to show the items under Sun Cluster.

2. Double-click the Resource Groups item.
   You see expandable Status and Configuration items.

3. Double-click the Configuration item.
   You see expandable Failover and Scalable Resource Groups items.

4. Double-click either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups.
   You see Resource Group and Resource Configuration items.

5. Double-click Resource Configuration.

6. Double-click any item under Resource Configuration to show the information presented in table format.

How to View Resource Properties

1. Double-click the Sun Cluster item in the tree view.
   The tree is expanded to show the items under Sun Cluster.

2. Double-click the Resource Groups item.
   You see the expandable Status and Configuration items.

3. Double-click the Configuration item.
   You see the expandable Failover and Scalable Resource Groups items.

4. Double-click either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups.
   You see the Resource Group and Resource Configuration items.

5. Double-click the Resource Configuration item.
   The tree is expanded to show the items under Resource Configuration.

6. Double-click either Standard or Extended Properties.
   You see the information presented in table format.

How to Enable, Disable, or Delete Resources

1. Double-click the Sun Cluster item in the tree view.
   The tree is expanded to show the items under Sun Cluster.

2. Double-click the Resource Groups item.
   You see the expandable Status and Configuration items.

3. Double-click the Configuration item.
   You see the expandable Failover and Scalable Resource Groups items.

4. Double-click either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups.
   You see the Resource Group and Resource Configuration items.

5. Double-click the Resource Configuration item.
   The tree is expanded to show the items under Resource Configuration.

6. Double-click the General item.
   You see the information presented in table format.

7. Select the item you want to enable, disable, or delete.

8. Click the right mouse button to display the pop-up menu, then click either Enable, Disable, or Delete.

When you delete or change the status of a resource, the Sun Cluster module launches a Probe Viewer window. If the Sun Cluster module successfully performs the modification task, the Probe Viewer window displays the message Probe command returned no data. If the task does not complete successfully, the window displays an error message.
