How to View Resource Group Status

  1. Double-click the Sun Cluster item in the tree view.
    The tree is expanded to show the items under Sun Cluster.

  2. Double-click the Resource Groups item.
    You see expandable Status and Configuration items.

  3. Double-click the Status item.
    You can choose Failover or Scalable Resource Groups under Status.

  4. Double-click either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups.
    The resource group status information is displayed in table format.

How to View Resource Group Configuration

  1. Double-click the Sun Cluster item in the tree view.
    The tree is expanded to show the items under Sun Cluster.

  2. Double-click the Resource Groups item.
    You see expandable Status and Configuration items.

  3. Double-click the Configuration item.
    You see expandable Failover and Scalable Resource Groups items.

  4. Double-click either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups.
    You see Resource Group and Resource Configuration items.

  5. Double-click the Resource Group Configuration item.
    The resource group configuration information is displayed in table format.

How to Bring Online, Take Offline, or Delete Resource Groups

  1. Double-click the Sun Cluster item in the tree view.
    The tree is expanded to show the items under Sun Cluster.

  2. Double-click the Resource Groups item.
    You see the expandable Status and Configuration items.

  3. Double-click the Configuration item.
    You see the expandable Failover and Scalable Resource Groups items.

  4. Double-click either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups.
    You see the Resource Group and Resource Configuration items.

  5. Double-click the Resource Group Configuration item.
    You see the information presented in table format.

  6. Select the item you want to bring online, take offline, or delete.

  7. Click the right mouse button to display the pop-up menu, then click either Bring Online, Take Offline, or Delete.

When you delete or change the status of a resource, the Sun Cluster module launches a Probe Viewer window. If the Sun Cluster module successfully performs the modification task, the Probe Viewer window displays the message Probe command returned no data. If the task does not complete successfully, the window displays an error message.
