Cluster Configuration

Configuration	Description
Name	Shows the names of all the nodes in the cluster
Install Mode	Shows the current state at installation
Private Net	Shows the private network subnet address
Private Netmask	Shows the netmask of the private network
Add Node List	Shows the nodes that are allowed to be added to the cluster
Add Node Authentication Type	Shows the method to be used for a new node to be added to the cluster

Selecting Configuration under the Nodes item in the tree view displays the following information for the cluster nodes, in table format within the context panel.

General	Description
Node Name	Shows the names of all the nodes in the cluster
Votes Configured	Shows the votes that are confgured for the Quorum
Private Net Hostname	Shows the name of the node on the private network
Transport Adapters	Shows the cluster transport adapters on the node
Objects	Description
Node Name	Shows the names of all the nodes in the cluster
Quorum Devices	Shows the list of quorum devices of which the node is the owner
Device Groups	Shows the mastered device groups
Resource Groups	Shows the mastered resource groups

Device Groups Configuration

Selecting Configuration under the Device Groups item in the tree view displays the following information for the cluster device groups in table format within the context panel.

Configuration	Description
Name	Shows the name of the device group.
Type	Shows the type of device group such as VxVM or SDS.
Failback	Shows whether (or not) failback is enabled.
Nodes	Shows the nodes in this device group.
Node Order	If true, the nodes in the "Nodes" column are ordered by preference. Otherwise, they are not ordered.
Devices	Shows the available devices in this device group.

Selecting Configuration under the Quorum Devices item in the tree view displays the following information for the cluster quorum devices, in table format within the context panel.

General	Description
Name	Shows the name of the quorum device
Device Path	Shows the path to this quorum device
Enabled	Shows whether (or not) this device is enabled
Configured Votes	Shows the amount of votes configured for the quorum
Hosts	Shows the list of nodes with configured path to the quorum device

Hosts	Description
Quorum Device	Shows the name of the quorum device.
Host	Shows the node that has the configured path
Enabled	Shows whether (or not) the path from the node to the quorum device is enabled

Selecting Configuration under the Adapter, Junction, or Cable item in the tree view displays the following information for the cluster adapter, junction, or cable, in table format within the context panel.

Adapter	Description
Node	Shows the name of the node that contains the adapter
Adapter	Shows the name of the adapter on the node
Type	Shows the type of adapter
Enabled	Shows whether (or not) the adapter is enabled
Junction	Description
Name	Shows the name of the junction
Type	Shows the type of junction
Enabled	Shows whether or not the junction is enabled
Ports	Shows the ports that have connection to a cable
Cable	Description
Endpoint #1 Type	Shows the type of the endpoint
Endpoint #1 Name	Shows the name of the endpoint
Endpoint #2 Type	Shows the type of the endpoint
Endpoint #2 Name	Shows the name of the endpoint
Enabled	Shows whether (or not) the cable is enabled

Selecting Configuration under the Resource Groups item in the tree view, then selecting either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups, then selecting Resource Group Configuration, displays the following information for the cluster failover or scalable resource groups, in table format within the context panel.

Configuration	Description
Resource Group	Lists the resource groups that include a resource and provides information about the properties of each group. Shows the name, primaries, description, resource list, max primaries, desired primaries, failback, net resource dependencies, resource group dependencies, global resources used, and path prefix.

Selecting Definition under the Resource Type item in the tree view displays items that contain the following information for the cluster resource types in table format within the context panel. These tables show many of the definitions that belong to the resource type.

Definition	Description
Overview	Shows basic properties of all registered resource types. Properties can include the name of the resource type, installed nodes, description, base directory, single instance, init nodes, failover, type, dependencies, API version, resource type version, and packages.
Methods	Shows the methods that are registered by the resource types. These methods are called by Sun Cluster in order to perform tasks such as those needed to failover resources. Methods include the resource type name, start and stop, validate, update, init, fini, boot, monitor init, monitor start, monitor stop, monitor check, prenet start, postnet stop.
Properties	Shows the properties defined by the resource type. These provide additional flexibility to the resource type. They include optional standard defined parameters as well as extra parameters defined by the resource type. Parameters include the resource type, property, extension, tunable, type, default, min, max, array min, array max, and description.

Selecting Resource List under the Resource Type item in the tree view displays the resource type, resource group, and resources.

Selecting Configuration under the Resource Groups item in the tree view, then selecting either Failover or Scalable Resource Groups, then selecting Resource Configuration displays items that contain the following information for the cluster resources, in table format within the context panel.

Configuration	Description
General	Lists the resource groups and displays which service resources are included in each group. It also provides configuration information about each resource. Shows the resource group name, resource name, resource type, on/off switch, monitored, strong dependencies, and weak dependencies.
Standard Property	Lists the resource groups and provides configuration information about each resource. Shows the resource group, resource, property name, property value, and property description.
Extended Property	Lists the resource groups and provides configuration information about each resource. Shows the resource group, resource, property name, property value, and property description.
Method Timeouts	Lists the resource groups and provides configuration information about each resource. Shows the resource group, resource, property name, property value, and property description.
