Viewing Transport Status Table

To display the status of every transport element, including hardware and paths, in the cluster, from the navigation frame in SunPlexTM Manager, choose Transports.

Note: If you configure your transport path during the initial installation by using two adapters and a cable, SunPlex Manager configures two junctions that are displayed in the transport status tables and topologies. These junctions do not physically exist.

By configuring the junctions automatically, SunPlex Manager enables you to add additional nodes to the cluster. And, you can add these additional nodes without bringing the cluster offline to reconfigure the transport path.

Viewing Transport Topology

To display a graphical representation of your transports, complete the following steps:
  1. From the navigation frame in SunPlex Manager, choose Transports.

  2. From the View menu, choose Transport Topology.

This topology displays the configuration of all adapters, nodes, and cables.

Note: If your cluster contains more than eight nodes, the transport topology is not displayed as an option on the View menu.
