To create an IP Network Multipathing group and add an adapter, complete the following steps:
The IP Network Multipathing Groups window appears.
Note: A standby adapter does not host logical IP addresses. Also, a standby adapter does not take advantage of outbound load balancing.
SunPlex Manager displays a confirmation message, including the command that is used to complete the task. Write down or copy this command for future use in scripts and other automated tasks.
To add an adapter to an IP Network Multipathing group, complete the following steps:
The IP Network Multipathing Groups window appears.

To move an adapter to an existing IP Network Multipathing group, complete the following steps:
The IP Network Multipathing Groups window appears.
SunPlex Manager displays a warning that the adapter is already added to a group.
SunPlex Manager moves the adapter to the new group and displays a confirmation message, including the command that is used to complete the task. Write down or copy this command for future use in scripts and other automated tasks.
| Removing the last adapter from an IP Network Multipathing group also deletes that IP Network Multipathing group. If you delete the IP Network Multipathing group, you might cause a loss of public network access for the cluster node. | |
