Viewing Node Status

To display the status of a node, from the navigation frame in SunPlexTM Manager, choose Nodes.


Viewing Node Status and Information

To display detailed information for a node, from the navigation frame in SunPlex Manager or the Node Status table, choose the node's name.

The Node Properties table appears. This table contains the following properties:

Property Description
Cluster Node Name The name of the cluster node.
Current Status Whether or not the node is running in cluster mode. A node can be online or offline.
Node ID The node identification number that is assigned when you install the node.
Node Quorum Vote Count The number of quorum votes that the node possesses.
Node Private Hostname The host name for this node on the private network. This host name is only used by other members of the cluster.
Node Transport Adapters Adapters that are used for the private network.

Opening a telnet Window

Use the telnet window to perform command-line tasks.

To open a telnet window, complete the following steps:

  1. From the navigation frame in SunPlex Manager, choose one of the following Node windows:

    • [node name]
    • IPMP Groups
    • Processes
    • System Logs

  2. Near the top of the window, click Telnet.
