	see gccpkg.tar.gz
A short description of the product:
gcc-3.0.2.pkg: GNU Compiler Collection for Reliant Unix V5.45
gccpkg.tar:	Tools needed to build the package
	binutils-2.9.1.pkg:	GNU Binutils including Assembler
		(needed to run GNU Compiler)
Installation instructions:
	pkgadd -d `pwd`/binutils-2.9.1.pkg
	pkgadd -d `pwd`/gcc-3.0.2.pkg
This GCC uses GNU assembler and the system linker
	(usr/ccs/bin/ld).
Build Instructions:
You need a recent GNU Make to compile gcc without problems.
make-3.78.1 works. If you use another version, be prepared
	to rebuild several times.
I had problems with the standard kernel configuration of
	Reliant Unix 5.43. I set
	    idtune -m SDATLIM 0x8000000
	    idtune -m HDATLIM 0x8000000
and rebuilt the kernel. Symptom was: giant files from
assembler and linker, out of memory problems.
Install gcc-Source and gccpkg in parallel directories.
Call "make bootstrap" in gccpkg to build the bootstrap C compiler.
Call "make gccpkg" to make a package from the bootstrap compiler.
Install the package using "pkgadd -d /tmp". If needed, transfer
the package with "pkgtrans /tmp `pwd`/gccboot.pkg gcc".
	Remove directory gcc-3.0.2 in gccpkg.
Call "make" in gccpkg; "make pkg" for building the complete
package in /tmp. Transfer using "make pkgtrans".
After saving the package, clean /tmp :-) (rm -r /tmp/gcc).
Known bugs:
The package for 5.45 should work under 5.44.
This was tested by a customer.
	No 64bit-Support. No Java library.
