HTML

New users:
Copy !HTML from inside this archive on to your hard drive. When you
first run it, you should fill in your details. This is for your
benefit; the program is freeware and so I don't get to see any of your
details; it's purely so that you can click on certain buttons in the
program and get a sensible output such as your name linked to your email
address.

Comprehensive help in the form of HTML pages stored locally can be
viewed either by selecting the "Help..." option from the HTML main
menu, or by clicking with the middle mouse button over !HTML on your
hard drive and following the "App. '!HTML'" option on the filer menu
until you see another menu with Help on - click on this Help option.

Note that HTML can be run over a network, although if multiple users
want to use one copy you'll need to set up External Data Apps (see the
Choices section in the help docs)

Upgrading:
Unlike previous versions, this version has the colour and palette files
included inside, so you should make a backup of your old version and
copy in any files you've altered. Basically if you copy in any files
from the !HTML.Palettes and !HTML.Colours from your old version to this
new one you'll get your colour back; and copy any text and palette files
from !HTML.Resources into the new version to get your user details etc.
re-registered.

If you copy the new version directly over the old one, it *should* be
okay as I haven't included any options files, but the method above is a
safeguard to protect your favourite colour schemes.
