WinClip
=======

WinClip allows access to the Windows clipboard from within Virtual RPC
(and possibly Red Squirrel).

For it to work you must also install RSTools from:
<http://www.nedprod.com/programs/RISC-OS/CallWin32/>

You also need to copy the file VAclipboard.dll into the same directory as
the Red Squirrel or Virtual RPC .EXE

To use it, simply drag from its icon bar icon to a directory or Application
(eg Zap, Draw or Paint) or (in RISC OS Select/Adjust) just paste as usual.

In RISC OS Select/Adjust it will also copy any text on the RISC OS clipboard
to the Windows clipboard. You can also drag a text file to WinClip's icon bar
to have its contents put on the Windows clipboard.

If you drag with Adjust it will save the raw information from the clipboard.
[currently Text, EMF or BMP]

If you drag with Select it will attempt to convert the file to a RISC OS
friendly format [using ChangeFSI for bitmaps or the supplied EMF->Draw
for Enhanced Metafiles]

If there is nothing on the clipboard that is currently understood by WinClip
then the icon bar icon will be the file_xxx sprite, otherwise it will be
the appropriate filetype icon.

WinClip may NOT be redistributed. It is available for download only at
<http://www.borcherds.co.uk/murklesoft/>

It is free for non-commercial use. Contact me if you wish to distribute it
or if you wish to use it in a commercial setting.

If you find it useful, or wish to encourage further development, feel free
to send some money via www.paypal.co.uk to paypal@borcherds.co.uk

copy step being out of valid memory.

Bugfix: Bitmap saving recoded as disc-based operation to permit huge
bitmaps larger than buffer to be saved out. Wimpslot reduced from
4000k to 128k, without noticeable speed difference, since most
PC/Windows systems are fast enough nowdays.

before Select (not supporting RISCOS global clipboard).

0.16 (6th April 2005)

Adjust-drag for BMPs uses file_69c instead of file_xxx
