Data Directories Datn

The polyhedra data files are stored in directories with names like
!PolyDraw.Datn', stored within the application. The distributed data files
have numeric n < 4 but any other character allowed in a filename is
acceptable. !PolyDraw uses a file (see Docs.FormPlist) to relate filenames
with the polyhedron names displayed in the 'Selected Polyhedra' window.

The distributed filenames begin with a letter of the alphabet, it must be
a capital letter.

These letters define the type of polyhedron, they are used to keep similar
polyhedron together in the list. They are fully described in the section on
the :type field header of the data format for a polyhedron. (Docs.FormData)

 Directory Contents
Dat0 Platonic Solids and Kepler-Poinsot polyhedra
Dat1 Archimedean Solids, their Duals, Prisms and Anti-prisms
   Dat2 Johnson Solids 1-70
   Dat3 Johnson Solids 71-92

   Dat5 Duals of Johnson Solids 1-70 (P.Gailiunas)
   Dat6 Duals of Johnson Solids 71-92 (P.Gailiunas)
   Dat7 Non-Convex, Compounds, stellations
Dat9 DiPyramids, Deltahedra, Space Fillers etc (G.Inchbald)

  Notes:
 1. The standard distribution disc has only Dat0 to Dat3, the data for which
was originally downloaded from the Internet, (see 'Docs.FormData'); the
others contain extra data files.
 2. All data files in directories Dat0 to Dat3 have planar nets. There are a
few without nets in other directories which are too complex to be made from
a single planar net. They are mostly stellations or those containing some
faces which are star polygons.
