Bishop Odo of Bayeux in 1067.

Odo was a half-brother of William the Conqueror.

Odo was made Earl of Kent by William in 1067.

The Tapestry was probably made to be hung in a
castle.

The Tapestry was designed and made in England.

The earliest mention of the Bayeux Tapestry is
made in 1476, where it can be found in a list of
the belongings of Bayeux Cathedral.

ANSWER the following questions :

1) Who ordered the Tapestry to be made ?

2) When was the Tapestry made ?

3) Where was the Tapestry made ?

4) Do you think the Tapestry shows castles as
   they really were ?
