Summary of play for RiscOS Tiles

         Version 1.04, dated 2nd January, 1995
                   by R.I.D.Macfarlane

The object of the game is to build up words by placing
lettered tiles onto corresponding letters on the board
[main window], choosing two from the player's rack.
Points are awarded for each word finished and the player
with the most points at the end of the game is the winner.

The letters may be moved from the rack to the board by
depressing and holding the left hand mouse button over a
letter. The pointer will change to a lettered tile.

Keeping the left hand mouse button depressed, drag the tile
to an empty space with the same letter on the board.
Release the mouse button when the tile is over the selected
position. If a word has been finished then the player's
scoring window will be displayed showing all words that
have been finished by that player.

An alternative keying method has been provided for those
with special needs. Click the right hand, Adjust button
when the pointer is over the chosen tile. Move the pointer
to the destination and click the Adjust button again. The
tile will be moved to the destination provided the move
falls within the rules of the game.

The display of the windows and the rules of the game may be
changed BEFORE the start of play, together with the number
of players and their names {see instruction manual,
chapters: Display, Rules and Players}. One option permits
the letters on the rack to be concealed until the player is
ready to play. Click any mouse button whilst the pointer
is over the rack to reveal the letters.
