2.60 Release (30/10/2001)
========================

2.59d
-----
Double click on graph background just inside bottom or left of graph when axes had
been offset outwards raised page submenu and not background colour. Fixed 22/8/01

If x or y axis was offset outwards, the "origin" axis tick was sometimes not shown
- occurred randomly depending on axis range and intervals. Also effected the first
grid line if displayed. Due to rounding errors in floating point arithmetic
affecting termination condition of a loop in the plotting algorithm. Fixed 22/8/01

2.59c
-----
Changed line widths to be common for vdu, drawfile, printer. Also included option
to use thin lines (0) for vdu rather than wysiwyg

Improved clipping of lines to min/max values of axes, even when plotting only part
of graph

2.59b
-----
When setting constant % error and graph is open - graph now replotted, not closed

2.59a
-----
Fixed problem of blank error message and closure of graph window if GD tried
to save into an application that ignored the save request

Fixed problem with help messages not being removed when pointer moved

Implemented double click on graph points raises points submenu
Implemented double click on graph axes raises axes layout dialogue
Implemented double click on graph axes labels raises axes labels menu/dialogue
Implemented double click on graph line raises line submenu
Implemented double click on graph background raises colour dbox
Implemented double click anywhere else in graph window raises page submenu

2.59
====
beta6 release
-------------
The last line of data, or last change could sometimes be lost
when plotting or scrolling around. Fixed.

beta5 release
-------------
Implemented least square fit for
    semilog x
    semilog y
    log x/log y

Implemented linear fit with force through origin

Fixed typo in res file edit window, which caused problem
with decimal point entry

Outline points on graph are now transparent, rather than white filled

beta4 release
-------------
*MAJOR* changes to convert to use of the Toolbox modules
All releases > 2.57 should be treated as alpha or beta

Some major features have been introduced. These include:

Colour for the graphs - the user may select the colours for:
Points, Lines, Axes, Axis labels, Text legends
  Graph background

Page sizes for the graph can be selected
  A4 portrait
  A4 landscape
  Square format
Sizes to fit on a 640x480, or 800x600, screen

Now saves choices as per new boot structure.
Many more graph settings are saved in choices
All my apps now use a parent directory of CJohnson in Choices:

2.58
====

Internal changes to non-fatal warning routines.

New option in graph layout window to offset x-axis below graph origin (requested by user). Only allowed when x-axis is at foot of graph. Did the same for the y-axis.

2.57 (29 Oct 2000)
==================
When axis range has been set manually to zero, or when min and max values are
inverted, then will give appropriate warnings and will revert to the
autoscaled values.

Plotting of points or parts of lines outside axis range (when manually set)
now consistently inhibited.

Tidied up behaviour with point size menu - if empty writable icon was
selected, point size became zero, and menu ticks went wrong. Point size and
symbol type menu behaviour now consistent if parent options in menu tree are
selected.

Fixed irritating bug whereby Caret was returned to incorrect icon in data
entry window after certain graph options were changed.

2.55 (June 1999)
================
Fixed bug: if data was transformed, then one or more data points deleted
with ctrl-shift-copy, and then the transform was "undone", the original
  data was restored incorrectly

Added cos, sin, and tan to transforms

Allow direct drag and drop of drawfile from graph window

Fixed drawfile bounding box white space problem

Allow minimum axis pip size of zero

centring of graph title string fixed

ABC does not allow e in numbers - e in input data trapped and converted to E

Also traps fortran D in double reals in text input files

No longer rmkills cjwimp and cjdraw modules on quit

Fixed the problem in data entry window, where last line of data entered
could be lost resulting from the necessity to hit return after the last
data entered. It now checks the writable icons for data every time the
  menu is raised.

2.54 (13/5/96)
==============
Choice to disable load warnings
No multiple running

2.53
Tidied up action of ADJUST click
New axes plotting to use numx10^n rather than BASIC 1En
Menu icons now respond to SELECT and MENU, not to ADJUST

2.52 15 Aug 1995
vdu buffer length no longer fixed but is
increased if points/lines are > 200 in proportion

2.50 - tidied up version of 2.10

2.10 28/12/94
Added help for menus

Maximum data points may now be set by user by
means of system variables in !Run file (NB wimp
slot must be changed for bigger data sets, and
compatibility with Multiplot must also be ensured
if it is used).

Also introduced system variables to set number of
segments in fitted curve. These may be set
independently for vdu, draw file, printer,
multiplot file (must be compatible with multiplot
settings).

Option added to append data when drag is to the
graphdraw edit window. Drag to iconbar or double
click will always clear previous data.

New print graph dialogue box

Printing results of curve fitting now goes direct
to !Printers (no need to drag)

2.04 22/10/94
Added option to not sort data on x before
plotting. The only sensible option that can be
carried out is to "join points". Options like best
line etc are unaffected. Cubic spline will NOT
work with random or non sorted data.

2.03 12/10/94
Changed OPENUP to OPENIN for reading choices file
- to accommodate read-only file servers.

Quick sort was not sorting the y-max and y-min
error limit values. Fixed.

Made label window static, rather than transient
(easy to lose details by closing window
inadvertantly.
