For the attention of RISCOS Users

DrawAid is an easy-to-use Wimp interface allowing a Library of Basic drawing procedures to be called by simple (or complex) User's Basic programs. From these User programs complex Drawfiles may be generated and displayed without any knowledge of the RISCOS Wimp. See the manual for full details.

The first version of DrawAid was written in 1991, and it has received steady development up to the present version 3.30 in October 2002. This last version has been slightly modfified to run under the Virtual A5000 emulator on Windows PC machines.

The DrawAid application and manuals are contained in DrawAid/zip. This file can be unzipped with SparkPlug or InfoZip on RISCOS machines or it can be copied as the zipped file into the HardDisc4 folder on a PC with Virtual A5000* and then unzipped inside the A5000 emulator.

This software is made available for use under free licence, but remains the property and copyright of the CARVIC Manufacturing. ie it is classed as 'Freeware' and may be copied freely, but not altered in any way. Additional, user generated, drawing procedures may be added to the Library for individual use, but must not be included in the freeware distribution copy, which must remain as in this zipped file.

For The latest information and conditions see the !Help file in the DrawAid application.
