This
page describes the ViewStation's keyboards. A number of different
keyboards are supported. This list is subject to change.
The
ViewStation supports a number of different keyboards, shown below:
IBM 101+ style keyboard (AT type) - this is the standard keyboard
DEC keyboard (VT420 type)
Sun Type 4 style
keyboard
Sun Type 5 style keyboard
These use either Serial Port
1 with special modifications for older ViewStations or a Sun keyboard
connector on FXD and Ultra ViewStations.
IBM 102 key
multinational keyboard
Lexmark 122 key IBM 3270 keyboard
All keyboards (except Sun, as indicated) use a five-pin DIN
male connector with an IBM interface. Complete key remappings and
configurations are selectable from software.
