This page describes the ViewStation's main circuit board.
The
main circuit board contains the main processor, an Intel 80960CA RISC
processor. Various processor speeds are supported, including 16, 25,
and 33 MHz. The main circuit board also contains a high performance
Ethernet controller, the Intel 82596CA processor.
The
ViewStation Ultra models use the Intel 80960CF processor for extra high
performance.
